May 9th:
The second set of raffle tickets is available from Sra. Bristow in Room 234 with 5 great prizes. The tickets sell for $2.00 apiece or 3 for $5.00. Please come to 234 for those and return them there, as well.
Red Sox raffle tickets are on sale through May 27. The second raffle tickets are on sale through June 5.
It's amazing how many tickets can be sold by giving up a weekend half day and going to one of our local businesses. They can also be sold at sporting events, with permission from Mrs. Wannop.

May 3rd:
The Red Sox raffle is going great for those of you who are selling tickets. There is still plenty of time to sell. We will need all of your ticket stubs and dollars accounted for by May 27. You can bring money and stubs at any time to Mr. Hiers in the Hort Room. Unsold tickets must also be returned.
The second raffle will be ready on Tuesday, May 6 with tickets available in Room 234 from Mrs. Bristow. We have decided to raffle 5 prizes on this ticket, with the drawing in early June. Tickets will sell for $2.00 apiece or 3 for $5.00. Please come pick up tickets from Mrs. Bristow starting on Tuesday.
The rest of the prizes we would like to organize into a Silent Auction/dinner event this fall. We have some really great items available and also a dinner is another fundraiser for the group project.
Reminder: our next meeting is Wednesday, May 21 at 6:45 in the Library. We will be discussing/planning car washes, the dinner/Silent Auction, a summer yard sale held here at WUHS (to benefit individual fundraising), and other plans. Remember that a second deposit of $400 is requested and you can put your raffle money toward that payment, if you wish.
I can't emphasize enough that the raffle ticket sales and the use of the brochure for family and friends to donate to your account are our best fundraisers. All money raised goes directly to your own account. Please get out there and sell. A few of you are accessing Mac's Market and other locations to sell tickets. All you need to do is ask permission ahead of time and most of the area businesses are willing and supportive. Go in pairs to make it easier!
Questions, please let us know!
